The Thermage® procedure is administered in a doctor's office using the ThermaCool™ system. This uses high energy radiofrequency to tighten and lift deeper tissues of the skin. It helps to firm skin laxity by immediately tightening existing collagen and causing later production of new collagen. These procedures performed alone or in combination with other treatments, can improve skin laxity of the Abdomen, Arms, and Legs.

Who is a candidate?

Anyone who is looking for skin tightening to treat moderate wrinkles, superficial acne scars, rough skin texture, mild to moderate skin laxity, and who has realistic expectations of the ultimate outcome is a good candidate for this treatment.

You should not have this treatment if you are pregnant, have a Connective Tissue Disorder, have a pacemaker or cochlear implant, or have been on Accutane® within the past 6 months. If you are diabetic or have an autoimmune disease, you should advise us prior to treatment.
